Down Under The Tyne Bridge

Down Under the Tyne Bridge draws inspiration from the iconic DUMBO photograph taken beneath the Manhattan Bridge, reimagined here on home ground. Shot from the foot of Dean Street, the image looks up towards the underside of the Tyne Bridge as the autumn sun begins to rise. A narrowed aperture was used to hold detail in the sky and enhance the early morning atmosphere. While this view has been captured countless times, this particular image reflects my own style — a familiar Newcastle landmark seen from a distinctive, personal perspective.
